Poonch encounter enters seventh day
The Poonch gunbattle is one of the longest encounters in Jammu and Kashmir in recent times. Army troops are battling well-armed terrorists in the higher reaches of the Mendhar sector. The encounter though shows no signs of ending. It is day seven and the ten terrorists are believed to be holding out with lot of food, arms and ammunitions stocked up.
