Jammu & Kashmir News | Annual Budha Amarnath Yatra Begins In Poonch Amid Security
The annual Budha Amarnath Yatra began in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Monday amid tight security and extensive arrangements for pilgrims. The Rajouri and Sundarbani halt points have been equipped with accommodation, langar, medical and sanitation facilities, while security and highway arrangements have also been reviewed. Religious leaders and organisers said they expect a significant increase in pilgrim participation this year, with the Yatra highlighting faith, brotherhood and communal harmony.
