Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra has initiated the process to remove a judge of Allahabad High Court from office after he was found guilty of misconduct. Sources said Chief Justice Misra wrote to President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. Justice SN Shukla was accused of misconduct for his involvement in the medical admission scam. A judges panel recommended his removal after he refused to step down. Following an order from Chief Justice Mishra, he was pulled off his duties from January 23.
