SC Judge Ujjal Bhuyan Says Students Cannot Face Punitive Action For Expressing Dissent
Supreme Court Justice Ujjal Bhuyan has made strong observations on students’ right to question and express dissent in a democracy. He said the right to question is an essential expression of citizenship, liberty and constitutional responsibility, and that students should not face punitive action simply for expressing a different point of view.
