Clashes broke out in several parts of Kashmir today after congregational Eid prayers. Police resorted to charging batons and firing tearsgas shells near a mosque to disperse a large crowd shouting separatist slogans. Witnesses allege the police and security forces stormed into the mosque and several people have been injured in the crackdown.
