How Surya Murder Accused Asad Was Nabbed: Tip-Off, Chase and Encounter
In a major development in the murder of 17-year-old Surya Chauhan, the key accused Asad was killed in a police encounter in the Delhi-NCR region, officials said. Acting on a tip-off, police tracked and cornered the accused, who allegedly opened fire while attempting to flee. Police retaliated in self-defence, injuring the accused, who later succumbed. A weapon and motorcycle used in the escape were recovered from the spot.
