A group of artists in Bengaluru realised that art was not reaching out to the ordinary person who might feel intimidated to walk into a formal art gallery. And also that members of the public rarely got a chance to talk to artists themselves - or see them at work. The artists approached the Department of Kannada and Culture, which gave them funding and space. The result, Art Park, Bengaluru - a monthly event in a sculpture garden on the first Sunday of every month, where established and upcoming artists work and interact with a curious public. NDTV visits the Art Park.
