Trump-CNN Row: ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox Halt White House Coverage

A major showdown between the Trump administration and US news networks has erupted after the White House barred CNN from serving as the designated TV pool provider. ABC News, CBS News, NBC News and Fox News have joined CNN in suspending pooled television coverage of President Donald Trump. The five networks said no administration should restrict a news organisation because it objects to its reporting. The decision means there will be no replacement TV pool crew covering Trump's presidential events for now, including his scheduled appearance at the United Nations in New York.
