Indian roots in Sweden's Parliament, Nila Vikhe Patil, a Green Party leader born in Maharashtra, India has been elected to Sweden's parliament from Stockholm. She is the granddaughter of former Union Minister Balasaheb Vikhe Patil. Before this, she advised Sweden's Prime Minister's Office on finance and housing.
