The indefinite adjournment of parliament in view of the coronavirus outbreak is likely to continue through the winter session as it is "very unwise" to conduct parliament in the present circumstances, senior central ministers have told NDTV; Delhi will not be put under another lockdown in the wake of the third wave of COVID-19 since it has already peaked out, state Health Minister Satyendar Jain said today, dismissing all speculation; Places of religious worship in Maharashtra, which were shut since the imposition of COVID-19 lockdown in March, reopened on Monday with devotees visiting some prominent temples and shrines in the state; Nitish Kumar has taken oath for a fourth straight term as Bihar Chief Minister. Among 14 ministers who followed were the BJP's Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi - his two new deputies. The event was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda.
