Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday urged the government to permit a debate in the House on the Capital’s worsening air pollution. Raising the matter during Zero Hour, Gandhi said the discussion could be structured in a constructive, non-confrontational way, with both the government and the opposition working together to find a solution. “This is not an ideological issue. Everyone in this House agrees that air pollution and the harm it causes our people—is something we should cooperate on,” he said.
