Breaking its silence for the first time, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam or TVK has responded to the stalled release of Jan Nayagan, described as actor-politician Vijay's final film before his full-time political plunge. Senior TVK leader Nirmal Kumar thanked supporters and political leaders for backing the film's release, stressing the party's demand for a peaceful screening while the matter remains sub judice. The statement comes a day after Vijay's questioning by the Central Bureau of Investigation, with TVK maintaining that detailed responses will be shared once the legal process is complete.
