Seven Congress MPs have been suspended from the rest of the budget session after they were accused of creating a ruckus in the house over demands for a discussion on the Delhi violence. The confrontation erupted after the government refused to allow any discussion on the Delhi clashes till after Holi next week. Opposition members were resisting the government's attempt to pass bills in the din. The government however seems determined to take things a step further and terminate the membership of Gaurav Gogoi. Tonight on LRC, we discuss what exactly happened in parliament and why was there an order of suspension and why the government is not ready to discuss about the Delhi violence?
