Locals Protest Against Mining In Madhya Pradesh Forest Area

Locals near Buxwaha forest of Chhatarpur District in Madhya Pradesh are protesting against the Bunder diamond block mining work for which an area of 364 hectares, to be used to mine rough diamonds worth 34 million carats, will be deforested. Residents fear loss of livelihood and resources due to the project in the forest. Activist and Co-founder, Peepal Farm Robin Singh talks about the protest movement.
