Jammu Kashmir: 4 Police Personnel, Including SHO, Injured As Bus Hits Police Vehicle In Ramban

Four police personnel, including Station House Officer Inspector Vicky Thapa, sustained minor injuries after a bus hit their vehicle on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Chanderkote in Ramban district on Sunday. The collision caused the police vehicle to overturn at a crossing. The injured personnel were taken to District Hospital Ramban for treatment. The police vehicle had joined the escort of BJP leader and Jammu and Kashmir Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma shortly before the accident. Sharma stopped his convoy and joined the rescue efforts. Hospital officials said all four personnel were stable and were discharged after receiving first aid and undergoing scans. The incident has highlighted the need for caution at highway crossings.
