"If you have H1B visa, and you are laid off, you have just 60 days to find a job as you have only 60 days to live in the country. And during this time of the year, not many companies are hiring," Debarghya Das, founding engineer at Glean, a technology company, said when asked how bad the situation is for immigrants losing their jobs in the US.
