'Huge Requirement': Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu On Need For Air Taxis In Indian Cities
Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu hailed Sarla Aviation’s push to develop eVTOL air taxis, saying Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru have huge demand for flying taxis. Naidu said the government is working closely with the industry to make air-taxi services functional, accessible and affordable, with India aiming to see eVTOL aircraft take flight by 2028.
