Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu has said the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) will continue its probe into the Phuket-Delhi flight incident, with further action to be considered after its detailed report. After meeting Air India’s outgoing CEO Campbell Wilson, Naidu also said the ministry is taking allegations related to substance abuse seriously and is willing to review existing regulations if necessary. He assured that aviation safety remains the government’s top priority and there will be no compromise by airlines, regulators or any other stakeholders.
