HPCL eyes BP's retail outlets

HPCL is looking to pickup a 49 per cent stake in British Petroleum's retail operations in the Pacific Ocean area-specifically countries such as Fiji, Vanuatu, Tuvalu, Cook Islands and Tonga. HPCL is in talks with local investors to form a consortium that will start off by looking at retail outlets and then move on to aviation fuel and lubricants.
