Heavy rain uprooted trees and blocked the roads in various places in Kerala's Pathanamthitta on Thursday. Fire fighters removed trees with the help of locals and police. Three two-wheelers were severely damaged by the fallen tree. The water level in the main rivers of the district such as Pampa, Achankovil and Manimala remain normal but pose a threat of coastal erosion.
