Delhi Rain | Delhi On Orange Alert As IMD Warns Of Heavy Rain; Kerala On Red Alert
India Meteorological Department (IMD) Senior Scientist Dr. Akhil Srivastava, in an exclusive interview with NDTV's Reet Kaur Sahni, shared the latest monsoon forecast and weather alerts across the country. The IMD has issued an Orange Alert for Delhi-NCR as heavy rainfall continues, while Kerala remains under a Red Alert due to the likelihood of extremely heavy rain. A Yellow Alert is in place for Assam, where rainfall is expected to persist. Dr. Srivastava also said that below-normal rainfall is likely across India during August and September, while advising people in affected regions to stay updated with official weather advisories.
