One of Uttar Pradesh's best known police officers has taken his complaint against Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav to the Home Ministry. He is demanding a CBI probe after he released an audio clip that he says is of his conversation with Mr Yadav, where the SP leader told him "sudhar jao" and virtually warned him of dire consequences if he continued to take on Mr Yadav. 24 hours after that purported conversation, Amitabh Thakur was booked for rape. Mr Thakur says this is a "return gift from Mulayam Singh". On the show, a fiery faceoff between Amitabh Thakur and senior SP leader Gaurav Bhatia.
