Exit Poll Data Shows Divided Marathi Vote In BMC Elections
Community-wise vote share projections by Axix My India suggest that the much-talked-about Marathi consolidation has not fully materialised for the Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT)-MNS alliance. While 49% of Marathi voters are projected to back the Thackerays, the BJP still secures a strong 30%. Significant counter-polarisation is visible, with BJP Plus sweeping North Indian, South Indian, and Gujarati votes, indicating that the Thackeray reunion may have cost more support than it gained.
