Greenland's Minister N. Nathanielsen firmly rejected any possibility of US ownership or control, asserting that Greenland will decide its own future and remain part of the Kingdom of Denmark. Speaking to NDTV, she welcomed increased European and NATO presence in the Arctic, calling it beneficial for both security and civilian monitoring. On recent Washington meetings, Nathanielsen said while dialogue with US leaders was positive and necessary, major questions about Greenland's future remain unresolved.
