Zohran Mamdani Opposes RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat's Madison Square Event
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has said he does not support the planned Madison Square Garden event featuring RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. However, Mamdani said the city may not have the legal jurisdiction to cancel the private event, scheduled for August 29. Bhagwat arrived in the US as part of the RSS centenary-year global outreach programme and is set to address around 5,000 members of the Indian diaspora during the 'Universal Oneness' programme in New York.
