CCTV footage released by the Lviv mayor’s office shows the moment a drone struck a park with a children’s playground in the western Ukrainian city. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said a tractor driver clearing snow in the park suffered minor injuries and the blast shattered windows in nearby houses. The strike site holds symbolic significance as it contains a statue of Ukrainian nationalist leader Stepan Bandera, a controversial historical figure viewed negatively in Russia.
