BJP Candidates' List On March 18: Himanta Sarma After Poll Dates Announcement
After the announcement of Assembly election dates, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the BJP will release its candidates’ list on March 18 following a meeting of the party’s parliamentary board. Speaking to the media, Sarma said a BJP meeting will be held a day earlier to finalise preparations for the polls. He also made sharp remarks about the opposition, saying that by 2030, Congress may not have Hindu leaders.
