With better connectivity to every corner of the world and more opportunities to meet new people, exploring new places has become one of life's most enjoyable experiences - and Indians are no exception.
India's tourism sector witnessed steady growth over the past decade, from 2011 to 2024. During this period, the country achieved a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.89% across all states and union territories. This growth accelerated further in 2024, with an impressive 2,948.19 million domestic tourist visits, according to the India Tourism Data Compendium 2025 published by the Ministry of Tourism.

India recorded growth of 11.05% in 2021, 155.45% in 2022, 45.04% in 2023, and 17.51% in 2024, according to the same report.
