Paris just got a whole lot greener. The city recently built a train station that features a rooftop park and sustainable design. Commuters can now step into the future of urban travel with Saint-Denis Pleyel Station, where sleek architecture meets lush greenery and seamless connectivity. A viral video, shared on Instagram, gives glimpses inside the modern building. Described as the "most beautiful" station in Paris, Saint-Denis Pleyel Station is not only a transportation hub but also a park and a public space engaging with the community.

Inaugurated last year, the building was designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates. The station is one of the key projects of the Grand Paris Express, the new ring-shaped metro system designed to connect major suburban hubs without passing through the centre of Paris.

The side note read, "A true 'green station', the building features a rooftop park, accessible from the street via a system of stairs and ramps. Another element that aims to make the station a welcoming environment rather than a cold and impersonal place, in addition to the presence of greenery on the building, is the cladding, composed of thousands of wooden slats that envelop both the exterior and the 30-meter-deep internal atrium."
