YS Rajasekhara Reddy birth anniversary: The Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday launched 412 new ambulances, replacing the older ones. The 108 and 104 services were first introduced in the state by YS Rajasekhara Reddy, during his tenure as Chief Minister of the erstwhile unified Andhra Pradesh, from 2004 to 2009.

Sixty-third birth anniversary of the late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, was observed today by both Congress as well as YSR Congress Party of his son, Jaganmohan Reddy.
