13 Dead, 28 Injured In Thunderstorms And Dust Storms Across Uttar Pradesh

Thirteen people were killed and at least 28 others injured due to powerful dust storms and thunderstorms in different parts of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Sitapur, Gonda, Shravasti, Faizabad, and Basti districts, along with other adjoining areas of the state, were affected.

The Meteorological (MeT) department today warned that thunderstorm and dust storm accompanied with winds were "very likely" in over 20 districts of Uttar Pradesh, mostly in the eastern parts of the state, during the next 24 hours.
