The company said in its statement that its revenue grew 9.4 per cent toRs 43,705 crore fromRs 39,946 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

In dollar terms, TCS reported revenue of $4,972 million, up 3.9 per cent quarter-on-quarter and up 11.7 per cent year-on-year.

BFSI clients account for TCS' biggest revenue stream, but their low spending on technology has led to sluggish growth in the segment.

TCS reported a net profit of Rs 6,904 crore on net income from operations of Rs 32,075 crore.
