Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) celebrated Sir Syed Day, the birth anniversary of its founder, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan today.

Former Chief Election Commissioner of India, Dr S Y Quraishi delivered the commemoration address as the chief guest on Sir Syed Day, the 201st birth anniversary of AMU founder, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.

Aligarh Muslim University Students Union President Mashkoor Usmani said the flag will be hoisted soon at the Duck Point on the campus as part of AMU founder Sir Syed Ahmad Khan's 200th birth anniversary celebrations.
