Actor Saif Ali Khan's counter complaint against Iqbal Sharma, the man who claims that the actor assaulted him and fractured his nose at a restaurant in Mumbai late on Tuesday night, does not stand, police sources have told NDTV.

The surge of cameras and the crowd that had gathered for a glimpse of Saif Ali Khan made it almost impossible to get a good look at the actor as he arrived at the Colaba police station at 8 pm on Wednesday. Girlfriend and co-star Kareena Kapoor accompanied him. 90 minutes later, the actor left after having paid Rs 15,000 and being granted bail.
