Centre To Amend Election Law, NRIs May Get To e-Vote. By When? Asks Supreme Court

In a major relief to Non-Resident Indians or NRIs keen to be part of the electoral process in their home country, the government today told the Supreme Court that it is ready to amend the election law to allow them to cast their vote through e-voting without having to fly from their respective countries.
