A Moscow court fined Apple RUB 400,000 (nearly Rs. 3.5 lakh) on Thursday for not deleting "inaccurate" content about what Russia calls a "special military operation" in Ukraine, Russian news agencies reported. The TASS news agency said it was the first time Apple had been fined for that offence. 

Elon Musk on Saturday said SpaceX would continue to fund internet access to Ukraine via its Starlink service. The service has helped civilians and military stay online during the war with Russia. When a Twitter user told Musk "No good deed goes unpunished", he replied "Even so, we should still do good deeds".

The government has rejected a long-standing demand of the armed forces for higher Military Service Pay (MSP) for around one lakh personnel, including Junior Commissioned Officers (JCO's), military sources said.

The 7th Pay Commission on Thursday recommended more than doubling the 'Military Service Pay' to defence personnel, and suggested that Short Service Commissioned Officers should be allowed to exit the Armed Forces at any point in time between 7 and 10 years of service.

With the 'One Rank, One Pension' (OROP) scheme for military veterans set to be notified soon, officials of central paramilitary forces, too, may be in for good news soon as the government is likely to take a final decision on granting of "organised services" status to them.

Scammers have been preying on the relatives of unaccompanied young migrants being held at two US military bases by conning them into paying nonexistent fees to be reunited with their loved ones, officials said.
