Dineshwar Sharma, a former intelligence bureau chief has been appointed by the Centre as its interlocutor for Jammu and Kashmir, Home Minister Rajnath Singh announced on Monday, calling the decision a follow-up to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks that "Kashmir's problems can only be solved by embracing Kashmiris".
