Delhi Police today arrested four more individuals in connection with the fake cancer drug racket bringing the total number of arrests to 12.

The Delhi Police on Tuesday busted a fake drug racket and arrested eight people, including two employees of a hospital in northwest Delhi's Rohini, involved in the manufacture and supply of fake cancer drugs.

The Delhi Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested 10 people allegedly involved in the manufacture and sale of fake medicines used as painkillers and antibiotics among others in the National Capital Region.

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has exposed a bogus medicine racket and seized 21,600 tablets that had been passed off as antibiotic ciprofloxacin from a government hospital in Nagpur, an official said on Saturday.
