Toyota Etios Cross and Corolla facelift coming by mid 2014

In a a bid to enhance its market share in the Indian car market, Toyota is planning to launch a couple of new and facelifted products by mid 2014. While the first to enter the market will be the Etios Cross - a more rugged-looking version of the Etios Liva hatchback, the 2014 Corolla facelift too will be launched around the same time.

Toyota to recall 41,000 units of Etios, Liva models in India

Japanese car maker Toyota is recalling 41,000 units of its sedan Etios and small car Liva in India to replace faulty inlet pipe to fuel tank. The company, which is present in India through a joint venture with the Kirloskar Group -- Toyota Kirloskar Motor, however, insisted it is not a recall but a "safety campaign".
