Ahead of Bihar Polls, Home Secretary Transferred by Election Commission
Bihar home secretary Amir Subhani was among the many senior officials transferred by the Election Commission ahead of the assembly elections in the state next month. The state chief secretary has been asked to send a compliance report within 24 hours along with the copies of the transfer orders, by the Commission.

Bihar Elections: No Exit Poll from First Day of Polling Till Last
Exit polls will be prohibited from the very first day of the five-stage Bihar assembly elections till the last day, Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi said today. The Bihar polls will be held from October 12 to November 5.
