A 26-year-old civil services aspirant was electrocuted after he touched an iron gate that had electricity running through it following heavy rains in central Delhi's Patel Nagar area, police said on Tuesday.

The BJP on Friday demanded the resignation of the AAP government in Delhi over the chaos caused due to heavy rain triggering massive water logging across the city.

Mr Shah talked to Mr Saxena on Sunday over the issue of waterlogging and the consequent traffic mess in the city, the sources said.
