UP govt recommends CBI inquiry into Dr Sachan's murder

A judicial inquiry yesterday confirmed that Dr Sachan, who was found dead in a Lucknow jail last month, had been killed. Jail officials had earlier insisted that he had committed suicide. Post-mortem reports showed he had serious injuries from what appeared to be a sharp weapon.
