Tyre maker Ceat's shares on Friday fell 3.5 per cent after the company reported a 17.38 per cent dip in consolidated net profit for the fiscal first quarter that ended on June 30.

On investments, Goenka said: "Part of Rs 400 crore raised earlier this year is being utilised in expanding our passenger car and two-wheeler tyre capacities in Halol and Nagpur respectively."

Tyre maker Ceat on Thursday reported an increase of 32.50 per cent in standalone net profit at Rs 80.63 crore for the third quarter that ended on December 31, 2014.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 76.55 crore in the July-September period of the 2013-14 fiscal, Ceat Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.

Tyre maker Ceat Ltd on Tuesday reported a 20.91 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 51.66 crore for the first quarter that ended on June 30, 2014.

Tyre major Ceat on Tuesday posted a 3.86 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 62.42 crore for the fourth quarter that ended on March 31, 2014.

Consolidated net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,428.18 crore for the third quarter, as compared to Rs 1,239.03 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Ceat said in a filing to the BSE.
