Cbi Raids On Lalu Family

The Rashtriya Janata Dal said on Friday the CBI's fresh corruption case against its chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members was "predictable" and alleged that the BJP uses probe agencies to scare its rivals.

The Lalu Yadav family could be in more trouble. The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday also stepped in to probe money laundering by the former railways minister and his family in a railway hotel allotment case being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Before the CBI raids on Lalu Yadav and his family, a call was made to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's government, as is the practice.

The government and the BJP have no role in the CBI raids against Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family, Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu said today.
