Book On Surgical Strikes

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Friday said the Indian Army had various retaliatory options at its disposal as far as carrying out operations on the lines of the 2016 surgical strikes was concerned. He was speaking at the launch of a book in Pune.

The surgical strikes across the Line of Control or LoC were precise and conducted at frenetic pace but the Major, who led the daredevil mission, says that the return was the most difficult part and bullets fired by the enemy soldiers were so close that they were whistling past the ears.
