Former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation in connection with the alleged bribery in the drugs-on-cruise case concerning Aryan Khan.

The CBI questioned former Mumbai NCB chief Sameer Wankhede for more than five hours in a case in which he is accused of demanding a Rs 25 crore bribe from superstar Shah Rukh Khan for not implicating his son Aryan in a drug case, officials said.

The CBI as charged Sameer Wankhede and others for alleged criminal conspiracy and threat of extortion, and bribery under the Prevention of Corruption Act on a complaint by the NCB.
