A court in Mumbai today directed Arthur Road Jail officials to arrange for a check-up of LeT operative and key 26/11 attacks handler Abu Jundal by a psychiatrist after he complained that he was hallucinating about hanged terrorist Ajmal Kasab.

A local court has transferred the case of the LeT operative Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal to a sessions court, paving the way for the beginning of a trial against him in the 26/11 terror attacks case.

India has stridently denounced remarks by Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik that suggest that Abu Jundal, accused of involvement in the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, may have been working for an Indian intelligence agency.

The custodial interrogation of Abu Jundal, a 26/11 key handler and LeT terrorist, has been completed, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) told a Delhi court today.

The Mumbai crime branch has filed the chargesheet in Mumbai's esplanade court against alleged 26/11 handler Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal.
