Gold biscuits worth Rs 1.5 crore seized from passenger

Kozhikode: Three and a half kilos of gold biscuits, valued at Rs 1.50 crore have been seized from a passenger who arrived at the international airport near Kozhikode from Muscat, sources said.

Air customs intelligence officials said the man was subjected to a check after his flight landed late last night.

The gold biscuits were found hidden in the electronic equipment he had with him, they said.
