Why do celebrities find it so hard to stay faithful to their partners? That is the question uppermost in everyone's mind ever since the Tiger Woods scandal broke. Here's a look at some other stars who strayed from the straight and narrow path...
The \'unfaithful\' celebs
Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren: The champion golfer has of course had a sudden fall from grace after lovers started tumbling out of his closet. Rachel Uchitel, Jaimee Jangers, Jaime Grubbs, Holly Sampson, Joslyn James...the list seems to grow longer everyday. Despite Woods offering a "profound apology" on his website for "transgressions" in his life and taking an indefinite break from the sport where he made his name, the storm surrounding his personal life just refuses to die down.

Jude Law and Sienna Miller: In 2005 actor Jude Law issued a public apology to his fiancée actress Sienna Miller, after reports of his affair with Daisy Wright surfaced. Wright, 26, was at that time a nanny caring for one of his three children with Sadie Frost. Halle Berry and Eric Benét: Halle Berry married R&B singer Eric Benét in 2001. They split just 32 months later, reportedly because Benét cheated countless times on his wife. Benét even sought treatment for a sex addiction shortly after he had tied the knot with Berry. In an interview to 'Ebony', the Academy Award-winning actress insisted she wouldn't marry again. "It's sad but true. I will not marry again. There is no need...I want love and I'll find it hopefully and have a committed relationship, but no more marriages. I'm not banning men, and I'm not against relationships. I have just discovered after two failed marriages that probably marriage is not the way for me to go again. Putting on that dress and walking down the aisle is no longer of value to me. I want someone to come and stay and be there because he wants to, not because he has a piece of paper that says he has to," she was quoted as saying.

Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley: Hugh Grant was the toast of Hollywood until he was hit by a scandal after his curbside encounter with a prostitute. On June 27, 1995, Grant was arrested by Los Angeles Vice officers in a residential area not far from Sunset Boulevard for misdemeanour lewd conduct in a public place with Hollywood prostitute Divine Brown. He pleaded no contest to the charges. He was fined $1,180 (£800), placed on two years' summary probation, and was ordered to complete an AIDS education program. Grant was at the time dating actress Elizabeth Hurley. On 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno', Grant publicly acknowledged that he had slipped up. "I think you know in life what's a good thing to do and what's a bad thing, and I did a bad thing. And there you have it." Grant's management of the scandal was deemed unusual for a celebrity. He was appreciated for "his refreshing honesty" as he "faced the music and handled it with tongue [in] cheek." (Text: Wikipedia)

Glamour model Brooke Healy claimed that she had spent the night and had sexual relations with Ashley Cole in December 2006.
