Telugu star Ram Charan Teja, who is all set to make make his Bollywood debut with Zanjeer this year, turns 28 today. The film is a remake of Amitabh Bachchan's 1973 hit film of the same name and also stars Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt in important roles.
Ram Charan is the son of famous actor Chiranjeevi and Surekha. He has two sisters, Sushmita and Sreeja.
Ram Charan married his childhood sweetheart Upasana Kamineni, on June 14 , 2012. Upasana is the vice-chairman of Apollo Charity and chief editor of B Positive magazine.
Ram Charan made his acting debut as the main lead in Puri Jagannadh's Chirutha (2007). His performance in the movie earned him the Filmfare Best South Debutant Award and a Nandi Special Jury Award.
